My Classroom
My mission as an educator is to ensure that every student that steps into my classroom feels supported and loved, understands how world history has shaped the world we live in, and can communicate their learning and personal beliefs verbally and in writing.
Feelings Wheel
A pillar of social emotional learning, students will begin the school year by exploring this wheel and identifying physical sensations that connect to these emotions.
Community Agreements
As a class, we will explore what our classroom should look, sound, and feel like. Based on this envisioning, we will work together to establish community agreements.
Representation
All of my materials, from books around the classroom to community partners, will encompass a diversity of identities and perspectives so students can truly see themselves in this work.
